Lao PDR, Nam Theun 2 Hydroelectric Project, (NT2 Consortium)
Advice to Nam Theun 2 Power Company Ltd. on preparation of Summary Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (SESIA) report for ADB on a major hydroelectric dam scheme in a national protected area.

China, Yunnan Environmental Development Project, (DFID)
Project design for multi-sector sustainable development project for DFID with emphasis on environmental protection and poverty alleviation in rural areas. Responsible for the formulation of a sustainable development framework and sustainable development indicators.

Review of existing environmental procedures and policies. Appraisal of planning system as a tool to achieve higher environmental standards. Preparation of environmental action plans for the capital city sub-region, two secondary cities, and the province as a whole.
